F1b Goldendoodles are the result of breeding a full Poodle with a Golden Retriever/ Poodle (Goldendoodle). An F1b litter is more likely to be non-shedding than a first generation cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. In this case the Poodle is our AKC Standard red mom Melody, and the father is a dashing Doodle named Teddy.
Red Standard Poodles are still a rare occurrence, as are standard Goldendoodles with such deep and beautiful color. For someone wishing for the unbeatable personality, hybrid vigor, and hypoallergenic properties of a standard sized goldendoodle but hesitant about the typical large size of a Goldendoodle, a red F1b doodle is the perfect solution. This litter has some petite pups who will be smaller adults, as well as some on the larger end of the spectrum.
